Advertising with LANThrax

Terms and Conditions for advertising with LANThrax

1. LANThrax can provide adverts for any business as long as the items or services advertised do not conflict with the products and services provided by the sponsors* at the time of commencement of the contract. Advertisers can conflict with each other, though.
2. LANThrax will provide a rotating 460x65 pixel ad to show between the first and second article in the LANThrax landing page (www.lanthrax.com/default.asp). The space will be shared between 4 x 25% exposure slots, that is, every advert has a 25% probability of showing every time the web page is refreshed.
3. The advert slot is hot linked to a 460x65 pixel picture (PNG, JPG, GIF) on the advertisers web server so that the advertiser can change the adverts at leisure.
4. The picture file size should not exceed 100KB.
5. Adverts are shown in monthly installments, paid for in advance.
6. Adverts are automatically removed as soon as the subscription expires, unless the subscription is renewed.
7. A subscription can be renewed after it has expired, but the advert will not show during this transition. During this transition, the slot can be taken by another advertiser who creates a new subscription before the former advertiser makes the renewal.
8. LANThrax has the right to refuse a renewal and will decline payments for such subscriptions
9. Monthly advertising subscriptions are provided by LANThrax in exchange for a donation of €30.00. LANThrax will provide a "Thank You" note which acts as a non fiscal receipt** of the transaction.
10. The requested donation value for an advert can vary, but it is fixed if the advertiser chooses to pay in advance.
