Headset suggestion.

Hi guys,

I need some help with buying a new headset, My eDimensional AudioFX Pro 5.1 needs to be replaced because the only working speaker is slowly dying. I was going to buy the same headset but the price is higher then the price I had bought it and I was looking for a more recent headset preferably tougher.

So what headset do you guys suggest?

Good to know because at the moment i'm trying to make a decision, my options are : SteelSeries v2 7.1 or the Roccat kave 5.1 although i wouldn't mind if others share their experiences with other good gaming headsets.

With less price of the megaladon you can get the Siberia V2 with the 7.1 surround soundcard like you said,Personally I got the siberia v2 with the soundcard too and I love it,I got it when it wasn't even being sold in malta because it got amazing sound,and you can tweak it with the soundcard software.

So yeh it's your choice,I like the roccat too,probably if it was out the time I bought this headset I would of got it instead,not because of the sound,just because of it's style.Because the siberia is 7.1.

Btw for the roccat you need a good soundcard,because you need to connect all the 4 jacks to fully enjoy it,not only the green jack and usb

Roccat has true 5.1 yeah ? and Siberia has "virtual" 7.1 ... personaly I never tried Roccat but seems better in my opinion. I'll choose it. But it's just me.

Logitech G51 has 7.1 sound system and has sound proofing so you only hear music or game voices...

I think I'm going with the Steel series v2 because it looks durable,it's within my budget and it's a good headset. thx for your suggestions.
