I can code with Pascal (which I learnt for the Computer Studies O'Level), although I don't use it anymore, and with Java with which I had to code my programming project for the Computing A'Level. All the programming knowledge I have was gained from lectures only, but I intend to get better in programming by following online guidlines.
I found this really good website: http://thenewboston.org/tutorials.php which helped me a lot in Java.

I am very fluent in Java, C#, PHP, HTML, CSS2/3, Javascript, JQuery and SQL. I also have a very good knowledge base on ASP.NET, JSP, Objective-C, openGL, WPF and WCF services.
My favorite application language is between Java and C#. The reason being that Java is a write once code and if the JVM is installed you can run it on any computer, but I also like C# because it's a simple but yet powerfull language to write with for the windws platform.
At the end of the day, all languages have the same basic functionalities the syntax is just different. Coding is not just about remembering things by heart and writing them, my way is to be creative and come up with new stuff at that moment by utilizing experiances I had with coding in the past, I know many people who think that creating a program is just draging and droping and using an if condition to choose between, but in reality programming has a deeper end to it, the creation of mathematical algorythms and organizing your calls to reduce method calls and conserve resources for something else in your programm. I miss the old days where I has 2MB or Kilobytes to work with. Haha thats why I love my arduino I only have 2KB of ram and less than 32KB code storage!

I'm familiar with ASP, ASP.Net (C#), VB6, VB.Net, Javascript, CSS and HTML. I can modify some jquery code but I can't start one from scratch, so I sually rely on google to get a code snippet which I adjust to my needs.
I have also started experimenting with SVG lately but, just like jQuery, I won't write it from scratch.

I loved the programming part in the computer studies (in fact i was able to write a program in Pascal after 5 years without looking at my notes) but then I choose Computing at Intermediate level and the programming part was only 1 hr per week and i never really learnt Java.
However i really love programming and when I finish my university course I intend to try to learn a useful programming language.
Also I know some VBA (which I use to make Macros in Excel) and a bit of LOGO (you remember that turtle in the Maths class? )

I can usually mess around with C, C++, C# and Java. I also did some PHP (a century ago) and can usually get things working (after some Googling around) in MySQL, ASP.NET, JSP's, Javascript, HTML, CSS and JQuery. I also did some Prolog and Haskell (I don't remember much, other than that recursion is the only way to get them to work).
I started out my programming career with QBasic, Pascal and Logo (yeah I remember that!) and for the moment I am learning more frameworks rather than actual programming languages, such as GWT, Spring and Hibernate.
