Hi guys,

Since i'm no networking expert I need to ask this somewhat n00bish question - can I stick a USB Wifi Adapter,

specifically this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-044-AS

into a non-network capable device (if such a term exists) like a TV and just start streaming off a NAS or what not?

Does the adapter have all the networking hardware to handle the whole business or should the TV be network-ready and/or have some sort of internal NIC card?

THe monitor has to support an external wifi device.. but usually its embedded.. unless stated by the manual.

Remember that the monitor has to have the software to see the movies select them etc.. if you don't have that thing. you probably can not.

No you cannot. The device needs to be Wi-fi ready.
