Killzone 2 is probably the most hyped up game to ever be realesed exclusivly to the PS3. And in my opinion lives up to the hype. singler player missions are awesome and the AI are Very Intelligent...the ingame Cinematics are Astonashing !!...In the online play you have a choice of a wide range of weapons and different people witch all bring something different to the gameplay. Unlike call of duty you wont find yourself playing for hours trying to get to the highest level of general it took me about 20 hours or so. There are a good range of maps large in small and there is a good clan system were you can join friends and look at other clans statistics.

Single player -
Although the story line isnt the reason you should buy the game the single player gives a very good intense game experience. With fast paced action, short vehicle experience ,short but very cool sixaxis moments, excellent physics and graphics will keep you glued to this game for quite an ammount of time. Another good thing is the artistic style of the constantly changing environment (while keeping the helghan darkness) will keep you looking for red things to blow up(including helghasts which help you to focus on the game by giving you a challange due to the AI system that Killzone has) killzone also offers real unlockables for single player achievements (Helghast Intel) by logging in to Killzone.com (including Wallpapers,Screensavers etc..)
Multiplayer -
The multiplayer is the section that will astonish most people. While having all of the graphics and physics of the single player the multiplayer offers a well balanced class system that will leave the option to choose your best fighting style.(From the heavy armored Assault to the cloaked sniper)The multiplayer also has a well orginased clan system that enables clans to participate in tournaments and watch the last played rounds on the internet. The maps are very well balanced although both sides of the maps are different.
Contols-
Although killzone is the first Fps ive ever played on a console i got used to the controls after playing the demo a couple of times so i guess its pretty easy to master them. The best thing about the controls is that you can actually feel the character moving(turning around jumping etc "the feeling of weight") even when setting the sensitivity to the highest option available.

Killzone 2 is without doubt the nicest looking game on consoles. It has some really nice lightning effects and everything is so detailed. I gurantee that you won't notice half of the detail on your first playthrough. Its controls have a little lag that adds up weight to your character, which makes it look more relastically, however this is removed in multiplayer. The animations are really amazing and top-notch. AI is really hard to beat, because he actually takes cover behind objects and can make things difficult.
Multiplayer is amazing. There are different classes which let you take a different approach to the game. Even though there aren't much weapons it still won't get repetitive, and reaching the top of the charts will take you some time. The clan system is very complicated and you can fight other clans and gain points. It will totally suck you in!
The only difficulties that I found with this game it that it might take you some time to master, and in the online there isn't a very wide variety of weapons. There are only about 8 different weapons. However this game still stays one of the best PS3 gamess out there.
