Tribes 2 (commonly abbreviated to T2) is a multiplayer online game set in the fictional Earthsiege universe. As the name indicates it is the second game in the Tribes franchise, following Starsiege: Tribes. It was developed by Dynamix and published by the company then known as Sierra Entertainment in March 2001. On November 2, 2008 Vu Games removed the authentication servers required for online play. However, in early 2009 a community solution provided a replacement server, making the game playable once more.
