Afternoon my fellow LANThraxians. Today, we are here to dive into what is likely to be the twisted, horrifying mind of Black Scorpion. By twisted, I mean, he's a great fella. By horrifying, I mean, you would trust him with your puppy. (I was actual told to say this by my lawyer, just in case Scorpion totally loses it again). However, moving on. Here's the interview, as it lasted for the last two hours in my dungeon, deep below the surface of the Maltese islands at an undisclosed location (crap, wait, I gave them a hint). Between the screams of agony, and crazed threats, here is some of the useful comments given to me by the man of the hour himself, Black Scorpion:

Q1) Good day, sir. Please state your name, age, and current occupation for us mere mortals. Hello fellow Comrades. My name is Nick Bugeja , I'm almost 16 years old, and at the moment my job is managing the Game and Voice servers, developing of the website, promotional campaigns manager, as well as some graphic design that might be needed.
Q2) So your title is 'the guy who makes stuff look pretty', well played. When, and how, did you end up joining LANThrax?
I joined LANThrax on December 9th 2006, S.E.A.L. told me about the website back when it was GozoLAN, but it took me sometime to actually go on the site myself, and then ended up about not visiting the website the first month I registered. After that, I was sort of clicking around the website, and starting to enjoy the content and articles.
Q3) What game takes up most of your time at the moment?
Currently I play some MW2 or Minecraft with friends, but not that much into gaming right now. I need to upgrade my rig and get down and dirty with the latest games.
Q4) MW2 and Minecraft? Nothing in common between those two! What would be your favorite PC game of all time? Why?
I think the old Half Life would be my favourite game of all time, since it was one of the first games I've ever played (which brings back a lot of memories) and the puzzling gameplay which always gets you confused. Also a great game I recently played (recently as in last year LOL!) was Battlefield Bad Company 2, and it was a very fun-to-play online game! Will definitely try out the new Battlefield.

Q5) BF3, the only place where flying your fighter aircraft into someone on the ground is smiled upon. What PC game/s are you looking forward to over the next year?Well it's been 4 years now since the release of Grand Theft Auto: IV. I'd love to hear about the release date of GTA: V which looks amazing in the trailer.
Q6) Money is raining down from the skies, along with puppies and ice cream. You have caught just enough money to buy a console, what's it gonna be?
Playstation 3 ! Not that I'm a Fanboy, but I seem to know more people who own A PS3, rather then an XBOX, so it would be easier for a private match, you know what I'm sayin' (I refuse to continue this interview in a formal manner)
Q7) Your opinion has been taken onboard, and ruthlessly crushed under the weight of a man/bear/horse hybrid. What is your role within the LANThrax administration at the moment?
As I stated earlier, I manage and keep the servers running, develop the website; doodles, promotional campaign mangement, occasionally bug fixes, anything that I can help with and graphic design (icons/logos/advertising banners)..

Between wrestling Great White Sharks, and killing off the entire population of actual teddy bears with his bare hands, Black Scorpion enjoys the finer things in life: Music, long walks on the beach, and playing field hockey on a live minefield wearing just his socks and a devilish smile.

Q8) To code, or not to code - what was the most difficult thing to implement recently on the website and why?Well, it's rare I do something from scratch on the website, Osprey is better at that, but I think the Shoutbox was one of the most difficult things to do, since it required storing data in tables (which I never experimented with) , and had no security features what so ever to prevent the form from being injected by codes to bug the website (As BIX did once to test if I had implemented such features :p ) but after that, I did actually secure the form and well it was all a learning experience for me to always make sure I add a security feature to all forms :p
Q9) Funniest thing to have happened behind the scenes as an admin since you started was....
Me and Osprey always enjoyed messing with members by means of some lines of code ;)
Q11) Note to self: investigate this hidden code and find out if they're hiding the Holy Grail in the dungeons beneath the LANThrax servers. You're judge, jury, and executioner. Which video game would have it head on a chopping board? Or in other words, crappiest game you have ever played?
I expected much more out of Call of Duty: Black Ops, and to me the game was a big disappointment... Sorry for anyone thinking otherwise, just my opinion
Q12) It was a bit 'meh' wasn't it? I agree. Does the amount of work that goes into the website surprise you?
Looking at the website you can realize there is alot of things going on, and already you can imagine the work behind it. Usually, Osprey's coding surprises me since he manages to make something which looks as if is very time consuming, in such a short time.

Q13) I know that hamsters run on wheels to power the LANThrax servers deep in the basement of Melita's servers, we have the technology, and I've seen it in my dreams. What do you think LANThrax will look like in 12 months?
We will soon start our mass production of Ball Scratchers (Inspired by Osprey) No, sorry to disappoint you, h
opefully it will continue to provide the best it has to offer, and expand both on the net, through Social Networking and also with a wider variety of gamers.

OH, and sorry for only putting pictures of me "playing around" (I will not use the term " "DJ" ") . I really don't want people to get the impression that I'm full of it ... ;) But I don't like putting personal photos of me online.
I would also very much enjoy taking this opportunity to make everyone aware that THIS.IS.SPARTAAAAAAA!! and that more people should consider consuming healthier foods in their diet ... amen.
