Tomb Raider: The Legend

Eidos and Developer Crystal Dynamics will be releasing the first Tomb Raider game in the last 3 years within a few days. Lara comes to life back with the dual pistol action in large and preety evnviroments where the visuals are extremly good especially if you have a high end video card to take some advantage of the graphical effects ;)

Gameplay involves puzzle-solving and action, as you will have Lara climbing and jumping around beautiful enviroments while sometimes taking out her guns to take down mercenaries and even wild animals.

The game will involve a tutorial where you will be able to practice some controls in a safe place before facing the cruel world. The game relies on a checkpoint system where once you pass a certain point, the game will be saved! Lara Croft may rely on her default pistols, but also she can recover weapons from fallen enemies to provide some additional power. Just like the older tomb raiders, the pistols have unlimited ammo. Shooting enemies involves locking onto the target and taking them down. Although dodging and jumping around will make the enemies miss.

The game looks stunning. The engine has been updated to modern standars and won't look dated. Some of the effects will bring the game to life such as depth of field which blurs details in the distance. Good news is that Lara Croft looks better than ever. Also to add she sounds good thanks to an english actress "Keeley Hawes".
While the game does not feature any multiplayer option, there are lots of various outfits and weapon upgrades which you can unlock depending on your performance in the game.
