An eBay listing has gone up, been bidded on and won by an unnamed XBox 360 gamer who got an early copy from the recent KMart leak in the US. The game was one of the many that was released by KMart breaking street date and was then found out by Activision and Microsoft who sent their XBox Live enforcement agent Stephen Toulouse out and about saying that if you play it early it may have an "impact" on your account. I'm assuming he means banned...but not permabanned, we don't wanna lose too much money.
While numerous copies have appeared on the bidding site, this one in particular was bagged up with an insane price tag and final bid of $1725. After several hours and 87 continuously cascading bids, the final result was decided and I hope both the bidder and owner of the copy get what's coming to them....some money and a game, eBay transactions rarely go differently.
I wouldn't consider myself a patient man, or even a man for that matter, but I could wait about a week for a game. I've never understood, sans DLC, what the point of getting a game early is gonna do for you. You'll maybe get achievements quicker, but what does that matter when everyone else is gonna get them. I think Multiplayer is definitely a big factor in levelling up, but who cares when there are bound to be better and faster players out there, always.
